This drawing was completed without any sketching process or premeditated design, also known as 'automatic drawing', with the artist working intuitively, directly on the wood panel with ink markers and coloured pencils, layering them over each other to achieve an effect that hums with energy. Taking over 85 hours to complete this kaleidoscopic tapestry of individuals, each completely engrossed in their own tiny universe.

This work seeks to offer the viewer a gentle reminder that we are stronger together, and that communities can serve as invaluable sources of care and sustainability.
