Starry Night. - Handmade ceramic tile with illustration

Handmade clay tile with one of a kind illustration.

This tile is inspired by the 1971 song 'Starry Night' by Don McLean, that I first heard when I was in high-school, and the lyrics and melody have stayed with me ever since. "Starry, starry night Paint your palette blue and gray Look out on a summer's day With eyes that know the darkness in my soul".

Tile measures approx 11 x 11 cm.

Part of a one off, limited edition series of 30 handmade individual tiles, each with a unique illustration, dated December 2024.

Materials: stoneware clay, underglazes, clear glaze, fired in an electric kiln
